The August / September book list

After much thought, here are the the 6 books that made the August / September book list (note:  I chose a few that are, or will be, movies):
1. Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen (yes, it has been on one my book lists before, but because I am busy reading it and loving it - I thought i'd put it on again)
2. Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert
3. The Death and Life of Charlie St Cloud by Ben Sherwood
4. The Help by Katheryn Stockett
5. The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton
6. The Magicians Assistant by Ann Patchett

I've read "Water for Elephants" and loved it. Couldnt put it down. I also read "Eat, Pray, Love" at first I wanted to smack that women and tell her to wake the frick up. She has so much more than most people and yet she's overwhelmingly unhappy. But it gets better and I loved the journey.

Judging only from the title. I'm curious about the forgotten garden. Mysteriously alluring. Would have to check it out. I think it's fantastic, the idea of this blog. Everytime I'm looking for great books to read, I'll just pay a visit and let myself be inspired. You're amazing, darling!

Enjoy Eat Pray Love. I agreed with vidalia - you really do get a bit annoyed by her, but in the end, there is a moment when you relate and forgive her.

Bought Eat, Pray, Love for a girlfriend. It's now doing the rounds. I've yet to read it.

Currently reading Ken Follet. It's a bitch of a book. 1000 pages.
