I read my first Hoffman book many years ago, after I discovered a copy of "Practical Magic" in a second hand bookstore. The book (which was made into a film, starring Sandra Bullock & Nicole Kidman) was truly beautiful and romantic.
Now, I am lucky enough to own a first edition, signed, hardcover version of "Practical Magic" (thanks to an old friend) and it is my favourite book (and the book I used in this blogs header picture)
Here's a few of her books I can highly recommend: The River King, Practical Magic, Here on Earth and Seventh Heaven.
Who is your favourite author?

Just wanted to send you a link to an article about Steig Larsson that may be of interest:

Kate Morton ('The House At Riverton' and 'The Forgotten Garden') is one of my fav authors at the moment...
I have a couple of her books on my shelf, unread. I may have to pick one up this year as part of my 50 book challenge. My favorite authors are so varied. I do love Virginia Woolf though.
I love Malcolm Gladwell’s books for the insight on why we do what we do. For a good dose of belly laughs, Marian Keyes.
Tom Robbins is my all time fave!
Hmmm. Toughie. I've read a lot of Bret Easton Ellis but ... I don't know. I'm quite bored of him. My fav authors are the ones who have only written one book in their lifetime. Harper Lee - To kill a mockingbird.
I have read many books by her and she does have a beautiful style, it is kind of hypnotic and pulls you in.
